I have used homeopathy on my family for four years since I was pregnant. We have been 100% homeopathic for the last 12 months.

Homeopathy has benefitted the whole family, but in the case of my son's croup, it came on suddenly and sounded horrible. I saw my GP for a diagnosis, but chose to use an acute remedy and then support his lungs chronically.

I first visited a Homoeopath for myself, albeit accidentally, when I was suffering from a form of gastritis. I was helped enormously by a few doses of nux-v.

My youngest daughter, Lucy, suffered from croup from an early age & conventional medicine helped - not. Our practitioner, Tony, had given us a few remedies to have on hand. Very early night our daughter who was still an infant, woke with the typical croupous barking cough. She was quite distressed, as were we, and had great difficulty with her breathing. We thought we may have to take her to the A&E at the hospital due to her serious condition. I rang Tony (at 1.30am) he suggested a dose of Spongia 30. While I held Lucy in my arms I got the dropper out of the bottle & put a couple of drops of the remedy into her mouth. Almost instantly the colour of her face changed from a pale bluish hue to pink, she sighed and fell back asleep within a minute. I was astounded at the result.

When I was misdiagnosed with a fungal infection by a GP but I decided to go to a homeopath instead. She diagnosed a hormone imbalance causing perineal eczema and gave me Silica 30.

My daughter had a cough for a few days and at nights it became an awful barking sound around midnight. It would wake her and keep her up coughing. After three sleepless nights I took her to our homeopath who gave her Spongia 30C. She had one and then another that afternoon. That night there was no coughing. I was amazed.
